Your story is priceless. that is the kind of relationship I had with my dad. Every year he would cut a cedar tree off the farm and decorate it for christmas. He was so patient putting on the tinsel...every single strand staight! I remember the year my mom talked him out of the cedar tree and this was after I had kids of my own. That was quite a transition to have an artificial tree! I was so disappointed. Now Dad is gone and I still get a little cedar every year and place it where I can smile and enjoy those memories from long ago. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
